Summary

I started working in 1997 at Animation Band Studio (Milan, Italy).
During my career I worked in several TV series, commercials and tv specials as a freelance 2d animator and later as a freelance storyboard artist. Since 2007 I am the only animator of the famous character Mr. Linea by Osvaldo Cavandoli. I also deal in concept art, illustration and graphic design.
I love comics and the possibility to tell stories with my own hands, in the most effective and low cost way.

I'm always looking for opportunities to learn new approaches to my job.
Recently I started study Blender, both for learning the 3d and to exploit the potential of Grease Pencil for storyboards and animatics: I think that animatic, as a medium of artistic expression, might have a big future, because it’s the perfect synthesis between comics and animation.
